Events

Events are an integral part of your Campaigns, They help you understand the behaviour of your website, mobile app etc. For now let's understand few basics.

What is an Event?

Events are all actions performed by the users while interacting with your Website, Mobile App or Chat Channels.

For example, imagine a user clicks on a product to view product details. This is an event that is traked as e300 (Product Page).

Why do you need events?

Events enable you to understand, analyze and gain insights of your user's behavior and the behavioral trend which can be leveraged to create engagements, make optimal budget plans, segment users and for myriad purposes.

What are the different events captured?

E100: These are the actions performed by the users in the home page of your website/application. Home page events are mainly about how the user is landing and navigating in your home page.

Here, the general information about the channel from which the user landed on your home page, the type of platform used, the different sources from which your application was installed, the user properties and so on are captured.

E200: These are the actions performed by the users in the category page of your website/application. Category page events are mainly about the categories/subcategories of the product viewed and also about how the users are landing on the category page.

E300: These are the actions performed by the users in the product page of your website/application. Product page events are mainly about the products viewed and also about how the users are landing on the products page.

E400: These are the actions performed by the users in the cart page of your website/application. Cart page events are mainly about the products added in the cart and also about how the users are landing on the products page.

E500: These are the actions performed by the users in the thank you page of your website/application. Cart page events are mainly about how the the orders placed and also about how the users are landing on the thank you page.
