Browser Push Creation

To create a Browser Push Engagement, follow the below steps.

1. Create segment for which an engagement has to be created in the Segmentation tab. Refer the Segmentation section to know how to create a segment.

Once the segment is created, click on the created segment from the segment list as shown.

2. Upon clicking the segment, you will be navigated to the tab shown as below.

3. Click on the Browser Notification Tab and you will navigated to the Browser Notification Creation section as shown.

4. To create a new Browser Notification, click on the Create New button on the top right as shown.

5. On clicking Create New button, General Settings section will appear as shown.

6. Enter the required General Settings Specifications.

6.1. Enter the Engagement Name in the option as shown.

6.2. Select the browser for which you want to create the engagement for.

6.3. Select the type of Push required from the drop down as shown.

6.4. Select if you want to create a Static or Dynamic Notification.

6.5. Select the required time zone.

Document image


6.6. Select the required Start Date and Time from the drop down as shown.

6.7. Select if you want schedule your notification to recur or not.

6.8. Select if you want to enable or disable the A/B Testing.

6.9. Click on Next to go to the Chrome/Firefox Template Settings Section.

7. Enter the required Chrome/Firefox Template Settings Specifications as shown.

Also the type of push chosen in the general settings section will reflect in the push type in this section.

7.1. Choose the required template from the drop down as shown.

7.2. Enter the Title of the notification in the Title Option, the main notification content in the Message Option and the landing page in the landing page option.

7.3. Choose the logo image from the drop down of the Logo Image Option and Click Upload to upload the Logo.

7.4. Choose the notification image from the drop down of the Notification image option.

7.5. To create a CTA button, click on the CTA option, select the number of buttons from the drop down of No. of Buttons option, give a name to the button in the Button Name option and enter the Button Landing Page in the Button Landing Page option.

7.6. Enter the tracker in the tracker option and the period of notification expiry in the Notification Expiry option in the Advance Settings.

7.7. Click on Save and Engage to Save your created engagement and to send Notifications as specified.

Incase you of chosen to create templates for both Chrome/Firefox and Safari browser initially in the General Settings section, Next option will be enabled.

7.8. Click on Next option to take you to the Safari Template section as shown.

8. Enter the required Safari Template Settings Specifications as shown.

Also the type of push chosen in the general settings section will reflect in the push type in this section.

8.1. Choose the required template from the drop down as shown.

8.2. Enter the Title of the notification in the Title Option, the main notification content in the Message Option and the landing page in the landing page option.

7.3. Enter the tracker in the tracker option of the Advance Settings option.

7.4. Click on Save and Engage to Save your created engagement and to send Notifications as specified.

7.5. The Browser Notification Engagement created newly will be shown in the list of Browser Notifications under the Channels Section.

7.6. To create another Browser Notification engagement, click on Add New button present at the bottom of the Browser Notification Engagement creation section as shown.
